From Nov/2007 through Jan/2010, the Dale and Ann served as the interim, part-time pastoral couple of the English (international) Department of Tokyo Musashino Evangelical Free Church (or Musashino Chapel Center--MCC). MCC is a church with four worship services every Sunday, three in Japanese and one in English.

The Littles' purposes as the interim pastoral couple were to assist the English Department through a period of time without a pastor and to develop a church planting vision with the church leadership. The new church planting project was to be a daughter church of MCC, was to begin after the arrival of a new pastoral couple, and would be led by the Littles. These plans are becoming a reality!

Now that Howard and Marilynn Plucar are the pastoral couple at MCC, Dale and Ann are strategizing and planning for this exciting new church planting project in Tokyo, known as Tokyo Multi-Cultural Church (TMCC). The church planting strategy is being developed with the Plucars and with the board of the English Department of MCC.

The target location is the east side of Tokyo. The upper map at the right provides geographic orientation for the church planting project. The lower map at the right shows a more detailed view of the target area. For an enlarged view, click on each map.

The numbers on the map correspond to the following churches:

▪ #1 -- Musahino Chapel Center (Tokyo Musashino EFC), planted in the 1980s.

▪ #2 -- Tachikawa EFC, the first church planting project of MCC, in the 1990s.

▪ #3 -- Sunrise Chapel (Higashimurayama EFC), the second church planting project of MCC, which Dale and Ann led from 1999-2004.

▪ #4 -- Kinshicho station, target area for TMCC, hopefully the next church planting project of MCC.

Plans are for Dale and Ann to begin worship services at TMCC in the fall of 2011, after their one year home assignment (summer 2010 to summer 2011). By late spring or early summer of 2010 more details will be available about this exciting new church in Tokyo. Both churches and individuals will be encouraged to partner with MCC in starting TMCC.
